The Bible says that humans were created with a moral conscience and that they are free and responsible for their choices. The Fall of humanity was not predetermined; on the contrary, Adam and Eve had a choice between obedience (which brings blessing) and disobedience (which brings a curse). They knew the consequences of their choice.
